Linnea Bowman specializes in Elder Care, Special Education, Fine Arts and Fashion Design. She has a Master of Arts in Art Education from University of Portland; Bachelor of Arts in Arts & Letters with a minor in Woman's Art & Literature; Double Endorsement Teaching Program in Art & Special Education from Portland State University; Special Education Teaching Credential in Multiple Subjects from San Jose State University.

Teaching Career in Special Education & Art Instruction: substitute teacher, K-12, multiple subjects in school districts in California; special education teacher, grades 3-6, mid-to-moderate learning disabilities; San Jose Unified School District; coordinating annual student Individual Education Program (IEP) team meetings with educational psychologists, program specialists, speech therapists and behavior specialists, school principals, regular education instructors and parents. Incorporated arts interdisciplinary approach to learning academics (including language arts, science, history, math) accommodating students with different learning styles. Linnea created designs to supplement and illustrate Linda Mood Bell Phonics Cards, tools and lessons for use in special education classrooms, with an emphasis on art history and language arts. Taught children's academics through arts events and exhibits (including computer produced illustrated books, 3D visual classroom presentations) based on science and history themes. Taught entire school years and three summer session programs, including San Jose School District 'Voyager Program', focusing on historic themes from world cultures. Linnea's qualifications include: <> Art Instructor/Art Therapist, Women in Transition Women's Shelter, working with mothers and children in transition fleeing from domestic abuse situations.

<> Arts & Crafts Instructor/Art Therapist for residents with disabilities in assisted living facilities.

<> Elder Care: Home Care Worker: assisting severely disabled clients with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), maintanence of client records, and meal and medication reminders.

<> Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She has worked with nursing staff and physical therapists in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Visual & Fine Arts: Linnea was head fashion designer of haute couture painted silks sold nationally and internationally and a gallery director in Cannon Beach. She is a graphic designer; sculptor of representational anthropomorphic clay figures; and independent artist creating prints, jewelry, art-to-wear hand-painted prints and multi-media art-to-wear, mini sculptural pieces and jewelry sold by galleries in Portland, Walla Walla and Santa Cruz.
